I would like to thank you for helping my brother get out of Iraq so he could get the medical attention that he needed. I don’t like the fact that my dad had to speak to you personally though. I think that if a soldier needs medical attention they should get it. It seems to me that a soldiers life isn’t that important anymore. If they can go over there and risk their life they should get everything else that they need. If you could work something out where somebody doesn’t have to contact another person really important to just to get help that would be great. There are so many other people that need medical attention that can’t get it when they need it.

I respectfully submit that HR45 is a violation of Constitutional and civil rights, and request that you vote against the bill.
I also request your support for HR197 as benneficial to the safety and welfare of law-abiding citizens. It will also remove some of the confusion surrounding reciprocity between states on this issue.

I am very disappointed in your voting record. Please read the constitution that this republic was founded on, then read each bill with the constitution as your guide. The federal government has over stepped its bounds in so many areas that the country is now only a shadow of its former glory.
The fault is clearly related to unsound economic policy, our reliance on an entrenched two political party system and the corruption of government by major financial interests. Remember who you are supposed to be working for and honor the oath you took.
Get the government out of our lives, smaller is better, the best government is the least government. Audit the federal reserve, arrest the criminal bankers and Wall Street Ponzi schemers, end all wars on nouns and get back to basics. You are supposed to be passing laws that enhance and protect the rights of the individual.
Its almost too late to turn this mess around. Who do you serve ???

Please read the the shorter version of this bill, its called the preamble to the Constitution, then read the Constitution and please show me where taxes, health care etc…are the responsiblity of the Government. I believe many men/women died for leaving and the establishment of a government that they didn’t want. So now must all your liberal Senators/Representives try to destroy all that is great about this country. If this you want this country to become socialist then go live where it is socialist/communist, like say China…then go leave here and take residence there. Taxes never improve and help the economy..don’t you all ever get it.. stop voting on party lines and vote for your constinuates, vote for the Americans that want a free country, want a prosperese economy, STOP BRINGING THIS COUNTRY TO DISTRUCTION!!!!!!

S.3520 needs to be passed immediately. There are 15 million Americans who are “unemployed through no fault of their own,” and who are also frantically attempting to find new jobs that do not exist. The majority of these 15 million have a family dependent upon their income, so that increases the number to possibly 30 or even 45 million Americans who are in imminent danger of losing everything. When this happens, the financial and moral ramifications for this country will be dire indeed. I’ll say it again— S.3520 needs to be passed immediately! Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
I am amazed that Sen. Webb would have the gall to state that “based on modest scientific evidence, VA could be paying claims on diseases that a large proportion of any population will contract through normal aging."
This comment was made in reference to a new VA ruling allowing presumptive claims for Parkinson’s disease and aschemic heart disease, and one other. How can Mr. Webb, who professes to be a Vietnam Veteran make such a callous and stupid comment? Instead of blocking attempts by the VA to help the very people who have defended this country in time of war he should be LEADING Congress to do all possible th help veterans.
As a Vietnam vet myself, I am ashamed to think that Mr. Webb wore the same unioform and I and millions of others have taken up.
