Gary Peters says he is a “Fiscal Conservative” but from what I read in the paper he is for every governmental spending vote so far. Does Gary know where the money is coming from? Does Gary know that while he votes 92% of the time with his party that he was elected to represent the district which would mean he would have a lower percentage of voting with his party. I could not agree more with the comment above. Congressman Gary Peters was elected last year with hopes he would challenge the detrimental policies generated by Washington. Instead, Peters continues to rubber-stamp and sponsor policies harmful to our economy. An example is his recent sponsorship of HR 2285 which creates more regulation for our already hurting auto industry here in Michigan. Congressman Peters is proving himself to be no friend of the very people who voted for him.

Keep in mind that “Legal2Smile” is actually Ruth Wisz, campaign manager for tea party candidate Andrew Raczkowski, who is running against Rep. Peters. As such, her criticisms of the congressman should be taken with a very large grain of salt.

I concur! We were really hoping Peters would be a “Fiscal Conservative” but am now waiting with great doubt that today’s vote of H.R.2454 will go the way that clearly most people want. I no longer believe he represents us. Can I really afford another tax increase in this Michigan economy? When are politicans going to stand up for what the people of their district want?!

It’s obvious by his voting record that he’s more concerned with political expediency than he is with his constituency. It helps us here in Michigan though for he surely is transparent, his voting and actions have made it quite clear that he doesn’t deserve another term.
