When you owned your company, you borrowed money, and went into debt many times. It is called “investing”. Some of the money your company borrowed was low cost loans from the Federal Government. How does that fit into your"idea" of debt and keep the government out of my life?

Saying “households have to balance their budgets” is a false statement— very few households spend only what they bring in, and if they did our economy would surely tank. Families have morgages, car payments, student loan payment. Stop the idealism, get realistic, and end this fabricated crisis.

I’m very disappointed in your vote for HR 3606, “Jumpstart Our Business Startups” Act. While no one wants to stand in the way of real job creation this bill with it’s race to deregulate mentality will mainly serve to employ those who want to perpetrate fraud. Please review the “crowd funding” that occurred in the lead up to the Crash of 1929 for parallels. There are fewer disclosure rules, too, making it harder for the small investor to determine what’s real company and what’s scam.

Bad news.

There are many ways to help small businesses without opening the fraud floodgates.
