Last week <a href="http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0608/11353.html">The Politico</a> asked all 100 senators for information about their mortgages. Maria Cantwell (D-WA) is the only senator that hasn't provided them with any information. According to the Politico, public records "show that Cantwell has a mortgage with Countrywide Financial Corp. — the same company that provided special VIP mortgage deals to Senate Banking Committee Chairman Chris Dodd (D-CT) and Sen. Kent Conrad (D-ND)."
