Chris Dodd (D-CT), the Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee, announced last week that he is planning to introduce a major package of financial legislation to be considered when the Senate returns for the lame duck session after the Novemeber election. According to Dodd's office, the bill will include a 90-day moratorium on foreclosures, new anti-predatory lending rules, credit card reform and changes to the bankruptcy law.
