Illinois senior senator Dick Durbin (D) on Tuesday added his voice to the growing chorus of senators calling on junior Illinois senator <a href="http://www.opencongress.org/people/show/412328_roland_burris">Roland Burris</a> (D) to resign. "If I were in that position, I would resign," Durbin told reporters after a private meeting with Burris. Burris, who was appointed by former-Gov. Rod Blagojevich, recently admitted to trying to raise campaign funds for the Governor.
