Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), a supporter and pledged superdelegate to presidential candidate Hillary Clinton (D-NY), may be backing off her support after the May 6th primaries. "I, as you know, have great fondness and great respect for Sen. Clinton and I'm very loyal to her. Having said that, I'd like to talk with her and [get] her view on the rest of the race and what the strategy is," she said. "I think the race is reaching the point now where there are negative dividends from it, in terms of strife within the party."

Republican pretending to be a democrat. We need to find a better person for this important job.
GMO FOODS NEED TESTING HR 1568 AND HR 1569 DID NOT PASS. LOBBYISTS FROM MONSANTO? WE NEED TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC. CAN THIS SUBJECT MATTER IS ADDRESSED AGAIN PLEASE?
I agree with Ken and Pauline... we're in enough trouble with our crashing mortgage market that I don't think I can take anyone else in power that doesn't have a clear goal.

We need to start producing oil from all known oil fields and look for new fields and why is Cuba and China digging for oil 25 miles from our shore line when our companies should be working those fields. The speculators are going to put the world in a depression because of our environmental idiots. We put the first nuclear energy plant in the world now we cannot put more plants into production and it is the cleanist producing electricity (for mass production of electricity). We need to make new refineries. The only way to stop this speculation is to bring more energy on line!!!!!!!
Wouldn't you think that Barack could get back to work in the Senate and do SOMETHING concrete for this country?????
He's being paid for this job and doing nothing.
Why can't he pass Kennedy's bill UI extension 2544 (which he cosponsored)?
If he can't get things done in the Senate, don't EVEN make promises for when it's too late!!!!!!!!!!!
Give up a photo op, Barack, and get some work done in the Senate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been out of work since November 2007. My unemployment benefits have run out. My money has run out. I unable to obtain employment and need more time to continue my search for employment. I am at risk of losing my car. Gas prices continue to rise daily. I am highly skilled in my field. My State Rhode Island is one of the hardest hit with unemployment. I am 53 old and have worked hard all my life. I've paid taxes all my life, and this is how my country is treating me. Unbelievable. The Senate, House and President continue to play games as peoples life's are put in jeopardy. Totally disgusting. So all the extra time that I am not spending on looking for employment, I will dedicate to making sure any politician that votes nay on not extending unemployment insurance will be out of a job their next term by informing the public of their decision in every forum available. I will encourage others to do so as well. It is time in this country for the people to take control of their government again and take it out of the hands of the uninformed, out of touch, uncompassionate, ignorant, greedy, self absorbed fools that are the true terrorists ruining this country. Pass a fxxkxxg bill extending unemployment benefits or you will be out of a fxxkxxg job!!!!!!!!!
Don't play politics with the American people anymore and pass HR5749 veto proof next week. People before politics. Please many need it!!!
I hope Dianne could sponsor the H.J. Res. 89. According to NARTH (http://www.narth.com/menus/positionstatements.html), they do NOT support same-sex marriage!
Here is the quote:
"Social science evidence supports the traditional model of man-woman marriage as the ideal family form for fostering a child's healthy development."
Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), a member of the Trilateral Commission and a leading gun control advocate in Congress, criticized the ruling regarding lifting the gun ban in DC. "I believe the people of this great country will be less safe because of it," she said.
"He who would trade liberty for some temporary security, deserves neither liberty nor security." - Benjamin Franklin
Vote Feinstein out of office.
I recently sent an e-mail to the senator asking her to vote down the FISA amendment. Her office sent back a very verbose but complete reasoning on why she will still vote for the bill: basically, keeping our intelligent up and running is more important than bringing the telecoms to trial. I can understand that reasoning, but she failed to recognize how this bypasses the rule of law. The e-mail said that she would support any amendment that "improves the current bill" and seemed to imply that she would support retroactive immunity. After hearing about Senator Dodd's amendment that provided for such a clause, I sent her another e-mail asking her to vote for it. Check her voting record to find out what happens. We'll see.
