YOUR VIEW: Congress hasn't passed a budget in more than 1,000 days
This omission would have been troubling in any paper, but it was even more so since Alabama's own Sen. Jeff Sessions has been one of the leading voices trying to draw attention to this sad fact. Democrats have had a healthy Senate majority since 2007.
