Rahm Emanuel (D-IL) has accepted the position of White House chief of staff in the Obama administration. On Thursday morning, Emanuel informed Barack Obama that he would be stepping down from his position as the Democratic Caucus chairman and joining the administration. Mr. Emanuel served as an adviser in the Clinton administration, and is a tough political player who will be able to help Obama get his legislative agenda enacted quickly.
