The Supreme Court on Monday refused to intervene in William Jefferson's (D-LA) ongoing legal battle over bribery and corruption charges. The Court decision was on whether or not to take up an appeals court ruling that the FBI violated the Constitution by reviewing Jefferson's legislative documents. The Court's decision gives Jefferson the ability to challenge the seizure of all documents taken from his office, likely resulting in further delay of his trial.
