On July 16, 2008 Tom Coburn was featured on the homepage of OpenCongress:
Before Congress leaves for their August recess, the Senate will vote on the "<a href="http://online.wsj.com/article/SB121616600947156223.html?mod=googlenews_wsj">Coburn Omnibus</a>," a bill containing every bill that Tom Coburn (R-OK) has blocked so far this Congress. Coburn has single-handedly blocked over 100 bills from becoming law this session because, he says, they don't meet the <a href="http://coburn.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?FuseAction=Files.View&FileStore_id=ba8ba5f1-2fc0-433e-9efd-118f0db5c109">criteria</a> (pdf) he outlined when Congress convened last January.
