Former Rep. Walter Minnick

Minnick was born September 20, 1942, in Walla Walla, Wash. He holds a B.A. from Whitman College, an M.B.A. from Harvard University and a J.D., Harvard University. He served in the U.S. Army from 1970 to 1972 and afterward worked on the staff of President Richard Nixon. He ran unsuccessfully for the U.S. Senate in 1996. Walter Minnick is CEO of TJ International, a $700 million public company in the forestry industry headquartered in Idaho.
