Schweikert is a resident of Fountain Hills, AZ. Schweikert has known the area for many years and is a graduate of Saguaro High School. Schweikert received his MBA from the ASU WP Carey Executive Program and also holds a BA from the ASU School of Business. Prior to becoming the Maricopa Country Tresurer, Schweikert represented Scottsdale and Fountain Hills in the Arizona State Legislature along with chairing the State Board of Equilization.
