On November 20, 2007 Lamar Alexander was featured on the homepage of OpenCongress:
Lamar Alexander (R-TN) is trying to win back an amendment to ban lawsuits against employers requiring employees to speak English at work, which been cut from the Commerce, Justice and Science Appropriations bill by the Democratic leadership. "I think we need more unity in the country, not more disunity, and our common language is one source of unity," Alexander said in the Senate last week. The amendment will likely be voted on when Congress takes up an omnibus bill later this year.

Those who vote for unconstitutional warrentless wiretaps and vote to protect the criminals that violate our privacy are not worthy of the position they hold. It's impossible to justify undermining the very essence of our constitution in order to protect it. Another sell out.
There is an immediate need for an emergency unemployment extension, people and their children are at witts end out here.
