I have had enough of the Bushs and the Clintons. They have controled the Presidency for 20 years... 20 YEARS. Just like George junior was a continuation of George Sr so is Bill Jr. (Hillary) going to be another continuation of Bill Sr.
It's time for change folks. This republican is voting for Obama. Partisanship must stop in order to move the country forward. It's that simple.
This democrat is voting for McCain.
While I understand and agree with your frustration with the current state of politics in the United States, I can't agree with this statement.
To begin with, the Clinton administration had control of the White House for eight years, two terms, which is not uncommon. It is an oversimplification to single out these two families and assume that they are the root of all corruption in Washington, DC. While Obama's rhetoric of hope and change are intruguing, please be sure that you research all of the canidates records and do not become enthralled with "pretty words".
In fact, the both Hiliary Clinton and Barack Obama have very similar views on many of the issues that people are intereseted. You can compare all of the canidates at <http://www.procon.org>

If Sen. Clinton (Hillary) wishes to win this election, she needs to adopt a more resilient demeanor. What is that? She needs not to horse laugh in Obamas face, but take a more worldly response. Maybe more Churchillian. It looks like she's dropped the more annoying nod. That's such a Mary Kay technique. Nod nod nod. Do you like it? Nod nod nod.
This is not a cosmetic sale, it's a change of government sale. If you clench, Hill, you'll lose it. Put a leash on Bill. He didn't help himself, how can he help you? He's also brilliant, but misguided and can't control himself. No good judgment. Okay. Smile, Hill, but stop clenching your teeth in the process. You must be exhausted, but you know what? You took this on. Meditate, breathe and for the goddesses' sake, get some relaxation into your responses. You look great. Breathe and let the small stuff go by. You are so much smarter than taking the early readings seriously. Obama is a new entity. Anyone can say, "Let's have change!" What the heck is that? Change? What is Obama's platform? He doesn't speak it. It's just a sermon for change. I don't want a president who is all about ego and no issues. Chanting for "change" does not do it for me. Wonder what was in it for Caroline to back Obama. He's not experienced and his charisma isn't that impressive. Musta been something.
Let's get serious. This country has been nearly decimated by this administration. Change is not the issue. What issues are important are balance of trade, health care for all persons, fair pricing for oil (the oil companies made huge profits on the backs of this county's middle class in the shortest time ever). Who is responsible for that? Who is asking questions? No one. The middle class is being destroyed by this administration. When the Clinton administration left office, there was a balanced budget and a surplus. We now have one of the biggest deficits ever. And for the first time in the country's history, we have made a pre-emptive strike on another country. This is a sick situation. And dangerous. The past secretary of state Madeline Albright has a new book out. It's a warning to a newly elected president. I urge everyone to read it. I heard her speak about it, and I'm rushing out to read it. People can fix this. It's supposed to be a democracy. If you think McCain can help this, he's nothing more than an old Bush, and he'll wilt under pressure. Look how W. has aged int he past few months. Do the right thing, people. Read about the issues and vote what you know about, not on emotions. Obama is about emotions, in my opionion. Hillary Clinton is an intellectual with state of union experience. Which would you rather have? Please, Hillary, relax into your intellect and let that be your guide. Not your emotions.
Hillary has my vote. She has a mind of her own and she uses it --- for the good of the American people. I watched the televised live townhall meeting last evening and she answered the questions I care about (health care, immigration, Iraq, economy and security) with real definition and assurance. Women of America, we are on the eve of the 100th anniversary of women being able to vote and it is time for a woman president: Hillary Clinton !!!

The same is true for Obama and McCain, I don't think this is a good indication of her character or stance on issues but rather on the current sitiuation of the nation. With the real estate market in turmoil you can bet that those with vested interest are giving money to anyone that might be become the next president.
I usually never post on boards about anything. In particular politics like religion is a rough topic to talk about these days. Also I feel people have their own views and opinions about their political party or a candidate they favor. But, I'm still open to hearing from all candidates running in this 2008 election. I'm also reaching everything I can as a voter about their experience domestic and abroad. But, in particular looking at what bills as Senators they have lobby for and were against. What successes they have in their states and for the country (it's all available for all of us as voters to do our research on the net). Because the voters got the message Obama, Hillary, and McCain your all for Change! I'm so sick of hearing that espeically from Obama who never brings up where's all the money coming from for all these changes? Someone needs to remind all of them our country is in severe debt and economic woes(hardship when you own a car and can't use it, because gas is so dame high). Or plan errands, appts, shopping all in one days time so as to not waste a drop of precious fuel. Because of political rubbing of backs and big creedy oil companies wanting their profits. Also I want to know who will be Hillary, Obama's, and McCain's Vice-Presidental running mates. This is truly something that should be decided or talked about when voting for a President. Who would be second in command? Scary thought huh? I have listen to mostly Obama and Hillary on all channels for weeks. I have read websites on them. Read about bills they endorsed and bills they voted on or against. I have compared many things side by side. Although change can certainly be great for all country's. In this case so far Hillary has my vote because one very important factor is still haunting our whole country. That being the costly war. I believe she has more experience overseas with diplomats. I believe this women has patience, strength to with stand any critism dealt to her by press or foreign world leaders (after all look what she went through with standing by her man).Whether right or wrong, she lived through that ordeal. Admit it women, any of us would have probably booted the guy out the door, or at least got even with him through taking him to the cleaners. She took the high road and gave her man another opportunity, reasoned it out in her favor and that was cleavor for her political future (she's smart). Also under the Clinton administration my husband didn't lose a job twice like he did under the Bush administration (Republicans usually bring us bad luck). Bush has destroyed our livilyhood and this country for years to come (by the way no one cared then either when I begged people in polling lines DON'T VOTE FOR BUSH). I read about his policies too. Also under the Clinton Era I don't remember a poor economy and if given more time they we're doing wonders with Universal Health Care for all to have priviledge to. It was Bush who took all funding for many important issue's this country has always had and spent billions of our dollars overseas for years on enemies that we still haven't found (in them there Afganistan Hills). I want to know why the worry of the oil? Why the wars, was it about the territory that has the most oil? What isn't the government telling us about the condition of our own fuel sources? About the condition of the Alaskan pipelinesand others? Candidates sure seem to be talking a lot about alternative energy sources these days, I wonder why so heavily? Is America in crisis for not having enough oil? Is our Government purposedly allowing prices for oil to be this high so we all won't use excess and conserve what we do have? Finally for any change money has to be available? After Bush can our Government afford to give anymore overseas OBAMA. I wish I had wrote down the figure tonight but I read on his website that he wants to set a program up once we with draw from Irag for humanitian ad to continue. Excuse me I believe it was like 2 billion dollars again. As a tax payer we have been told by this Government under Bush that we were going into these wars and giving money to Iraq for years whether Americans took a vote on this or not. Yet, this is still a country that can't get past their hate and religious differences to ever agree on anything. I don't want that kind of money spent overseas anymore. If we're pulling out we're pulling out for good. Let's build our own Economy back up. Let them all fight their battles and kill each other over in Irag if need be. All through time there have been wars with winners and losers. Let's use our own money now for protecting this economy, this countries borders, and of course watch Iraq, Iran, N. Korea, and China, like a hawk.

This woman should be pushing for extended benefits for her americans, this is pretty serious stuff foreclosures are happening, families are living in cars in rural areas, we can't wait until 2010 for all the jobs for allternative energy wind farms and the other dreams they have. Fear has gripped the Government and many people of The United States, causing havoc among all citizens. Not in history of civilization has such atrocities been realized. Spying and torture has become a common practice to any individual not living the productive life, people who live peacefully, people who are satisfied with their lives.
Once the Government considers a person or persons unproductive, they are considered alien and a danger to the society. The government fears these people for their disrupting the overall progress of the American Way. Growth and prosperity has become a major concern to those people dwelling in luxury and vanity, while individuals who are satisfied with the common way of living are scrutinized and condemned for being lazy and indifferent to any advancement.
America is the product of devastation to the planet Earth, and to the realm of outer space. The government has sold-out to the destruction of the planet with endless violations, removing the material resources and destroying natural environment, ending nearly all ecosystems of other forms of life.

I live across the street from a gentleman that has been in extreme pain for 8 years with a degenerating bone disease. He has been unable to get any attorney to take his case for Social Security and the attorneys have never even looked at his medical records. We allow people to nearly starve and be homeless because of serious health issues. What are you going to do to relieve situations as this? Also a friend in her 70's was homeless for over a year and lived in a shelter. She didn't make enough money for any type of assistance in living. OVER A YEAR! What will you be doing with these situations? I would like to know.

If you think Obama hasn't taken some strong stances on exactly what he wants to see change and how, you haven't been paying attention. His speeches were inspiring and motivational rather than dreary lectures about legislation. Some of the most important change he wants to see not mentioned in the above article that his 'speeches' have created is youth voter turnout. Young people have intelligently ignoring politics because of all the BS. Obama is getting people to listen and pay attention to government and care about what happens in this country. His 'words' have already changed this country in positive ways as the people this democratic process is for is now actually involved.
In addition to having the effect a good speaker can have, his stance on issues is revealed in his voting record and the bills he has sponsored and co-sponsored.
The Big media obviously likes him and kisses his butt while ridiculing Clinton in many unfair ways. They focus on his pretty speeches about hope and change while ignoring the vast amount of seriously hard work that he has put into government in his short period of time as senator.
He has continuously stood up for American beliefs even when it has been politically unpopular.
The president has very limited power and more importantly serves as a figurehead for the country with influence. We need a figurehead that encourages transparent government and and can speak in a way that makes people want to listen.
Behind the scenes and in analysis of their records, Obama and Clinton have voted the same, sponsored the same bills, and have expressed similar views on 'issue resolution'. The difference is his honesty, range of experience, and ability to capture the attention of an audience.
Obama is exactly the kind of opinionated and decisive leader we want.
I won't vote for her, her husband signed the NAFTA and she's no better, a big fat FAKE!!!!

None of the Clintons can be trusted, and I am throwing Chelsea under that bus, as well. You cannot believe a word they say, and when caught, they will lie like the dickens to cover it up. I know all politicians lie, but the Clintons take it to a whole new level. The only two people I can think of who even approach their league, are Bush and Cheney.
