California's 48th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of California based in Orange County in Southern California. The district from 2003-2013 included the cities of Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Tustin, and parts of Newport Beach and San Juan Capistrano. Beginning with the 113th Congress, California's 48th congressional district includes Seal Beach, Sunset Beach, Huntington Beach, Midway City, parts of Westminster, Fountain Valley, parts of Santa Ana, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Beach, and Laguna Niguel. The district is currently represented by Republican Dana Rohrabacher. The district is now centered in Huntington Beach. (More from Freebase)
