Florida's 12th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of Florida that encompasses much of Polk County as well as parts of rural and suburban east Hillsborough County and a small piece of western Osceola County. The district is currently represented by Republican Dennis A. Ross who won the open seat in 2010 vacated by Adam Putnam in his successful bid to be Florida State Commissioner of Agriculture & Consumer Services. (More from Freebase)
