Maryland's 1st congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of Maryland. The district encompasses the entire Eastern Shore of Maryland, including Salisbury, as well as parts of Anne Arundel, Baltimore and Harford counties. However, the 2012 election will be based on the redrawn 1st district, which dropped the parts in Anne Arundel County and picked up Carroll County. The district is currently represented by Republican Andy Harris, who defeated Democratic incumbent Frank M. Kratovil, Jr. in 2010. The following is a list of those who have represented the district.
