The 3rd Congressional District of Nevada is a congressional district occupying the suburbs of Las Vegas, including Henderson, parts of North Las Vegas and Summerlin, and most of unincorporated Clark County. The district was created after the 2000 census. It was intended to be a "fair fight" district, and as originally drawn had a relatively equal balance of registered Republicans and registered Democrats, though it has since gained a modest Democratic advantage in registration. It is currently represented by Republican Joe Heck. Election results from presidential races (More from Freebase)
