Ohio's 3rd congressional district includes most of the city of Dayton and its surrounding suburbs and exurbs. It is currently represented by Representative Mike Turner. Due to redistricting following the 2010 United States Census, this district's lines will change drastically after the 2012 elections. The new 3rd district will be located entirely in Franklin County and include most of the city of Columbus. Most of the territory within the current 3rd district, including all of Dayton and Montgomery County will become part of the new 10th district. The following chart shows historic election results.
