H.R.1118 - Drug Trafficking Elimination Act of 2007
- svetsy : Because new dealers don't enter the market to fill the void of ones locked up, after all no one likes the prospect of easy money regardless of the risks.
As long as there is demand there will be supply, even if the government tries to make such free market exchanges illegal.
- Rowland : Put them in prison and no one is dealing.
We need longer prison sentences.

H.R.5842 - Medical Marijuana Patient Protection Act
- scarpe01 : Care to expound upon that? I don't get how this bill has anything to do with the FARC. Cannabis is hardly the big money item coming out of columbia. In fact, a fair portion of it is actually a domestic product. Only the really low quality end of the market is represented by international transport (with the notable exception of hash, which is a very small portion of the market here in the US).
- slimgpd : I do not agree in the manufacturing part of this bill. Being prescribed marijuana by a doctor is fine. But growing it would be the same as homemade pain killers, no regulation at all.
