H.R.3404 - Emergency Unemployment Compensation Extension Act of 2009
- michaelwilliams : I think people forget that even though there are a lot of unemployed people out there, unemployment benefits are essentially charged to the employer. This means that employers are going to be out a lot more money, money that they now have to make up for by raising prices or lowing payrole. Lower payrole and layoffs only brings more unemployment. This bill is a black hole for the United States' economy.

- irabinovitch : Does anyone know why Senators Hatch, Sanders, Dorgan, Hutchison, Murkowski, Landrieu, and Menendez are not cosponsoring the Senate Campaign Disclosure Parity Act this session? They did in the 110th, when it was S. 223.

If your staff has not informed you of these two bills I recommend that you have your staff look into them immediately. It may be a while before they come out of committee but foreknowledge of these issues will be important to you. I am already taking steps to bring both of these bills to the public light so you can expect to hear about them soon. Simply put they are arms bills. HR 17 defends the rights of americans to own and use firearms in their own defence while it also protects citizens from prosecution for using a firearm to defend themselves, their property or their family and the second restricts the rights of americans to have or own firearms. Both are under the radar at this time but expect them to surface quickly. With the current American dissatisfaction in our government these bills may make or break your next election. Regards...... My latest email to him at Senator@tomudall.senate.gov was bounced, so sometime between September 22nd and now, he deleted that email address. The only way to contact him is through his web form. He is showing he is a coward. I can't wait for 2014 so I can vote for anyone but him.

It's time to STOP THE SPENDING! We can't afford to be owned by China, and we can't afford hyperinflation which is coming soon! I am NOT impressed by this guy at all...he WON'T answer tough questions! He's a typical, slimy, scumball politician. He needs to be voted out at the next election.
- Anonymous : 2/26/09 THANKS FOR DOING THE INTERVIEW - BUT PLEASE BE MORE DIRECT ON FUNDING I appreciated the interview Representative Lujan did this morning on KVSF. It is important to disseminate national information to a local level. However, I was disappointed at how evasive he was in answering the simple question on where the 800 billion for the stimulus package was coming from. I could not tell if he was being so evasive because he did not know and didn't feel comfortable disclosing that or for some other reason. It made me uncomfortable to hear the political side shuffle where he went on and on with responses that had nothing to do with the question. I hope that in the future he will be in a position to be more direct, informed and forthcoming even if that means being comfortable with the reality of possibly not knowing.

- Anonymous : I strongly agree with the above letter from Richard Collins on preserving the 2nd amendment rights as was intended in the original writing of the Constitution. Also I'm wondering what the tax increases will have to be to produce the Dollars for these ridiculous "Bailouts"? What will the costs per Dollar be to manage, distribute and oversee these Dollars? I strongly believe anyone receiving state or federal aid dollars of any kind should have to pass a negative drug test prior to receiving each check. I enjoyed visiting with you at Judge Martin's "dovefest" here in Las Cruces. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of service. I am sick of the path this nation has taken, not just in gun control, but the bailouts intitlements and the unnecessary spending it seems tyhe liberals push,,, We are now totally under control of some of the biggest idiots ever, and I fought in Vietnam for the right of these peolpe to be idiots and the idiots that fell for the bilge spewed from their mouths.... I came home from Vietnam, saying we will NEVER fight the Russians our main concerns are China and Muslims... It appears I was right... I haave no solution other than the one I offered in 1968...
