In Reference to the Senate Bill 2433. Why would we send our monies to the United Nations to assist in Global Poverty. Why are we not taking care of our own Americans that are living in Poverty? Where do you stand on this bill, so you support it?

Senator Tom Harkin, you must cease this fascistic approach to governing AGAINST the people you supposedly represent. Obamacare is disastrous, there’s no denying that, so stop trying to circumvent the will of the American people by proposing filibuster reform. Your proposed legislation is devious at best. I think all Americans are a little tired of Democrat elites such as yourself. If Iowa doesn’t wake up from its liberal coma, please consider retiring…unless of course you’re voted out of office.

We didn’t ask for the economy to be this way and it is not our fault that we can not find jobs all at the same time. We worked all of our lives and now that we need help, the people in congress is saying no! We are the ones that help pay for wars, national disasters, and the congressmen paychecks. Now they are telling us that they cannot pass a bill so we can feed and house our families. What is more important the “Oil Spill” or the unemployed and their children. If you haven’t been a care taker of the children who are taken away from their parents because the parents felt drugs and drug manufacturing was more important to them then the children they brought into the world, then please stop your nonsense. If your grandchild is in foster care, why don’t you get him out and raise him/her yourself? I did and have been trying to get financial help for them for the past 8 years. We want to adopt our grandchildren but we are elderly and just don’t have the finances do do so.

Our grandchildren have benefitted from our taking them out of foster care and living in a stable, loving home but if they were still in foster care, they would get food, clothing, and COLA and a scholarship and independent living, which my grandchildren don’t get because we took them out of foster care.

I WANT THIS BILL NOT ONLY FOR MY SELF BUT FOR MY GRANDCHILDREN AND THOSE
GRANDPARENTS WHO ARE RAISING GRANDCHILDREN.

You and the rest of the Republicans are so transparent! President Obama, as well as us Americans, know what you are doing. Stalling and not voting on what the people want and need in this country. Do the job you were elected to do, and start voting! Your tactics in stalling is only going to back fire on you all. Show our President some respect. How you treat him, is a reflection on how you treat us Americans. We may have been fooled in the past, but not anymore! We The People have spoken by electing President Obama into office.
