Senator Udall:

I encourage to you vote no on HR45. This bill will only punish law abiding citizens. If this passes I will refuse to register any of my firearms, it is nobodys business what I have. This bill makes absolutely no sense whatsoever! If you vote yes on this bill, I'll see to it that everyone I know who owns a firearm in my state knows how you voted and as a block we will all vote no on you during the next election. If you vote yes, don't get too comfy in that Senate seat! This comes up for a vote on September 8th and it is so poorly written that it has no co-sponsors. Don't make the mistake of being on the wrong side on this one.

Of great concern to me is HR 875, which will severely restrict the small locally-owned farm and ranch owners/operators. Most of them take their products to local farmers markets. Frankly, I feel safer buying from them (mainly because I am personally acquainted with most of them) than I do buying at the grocery stores, especially the chain stores. These locally-grown products are better quality, don't have all the chemicals and growth-hormones and antibiotics in them that the huge commercial farms and ranches use.

It is on a par with the NAIS, as far as I am concerned. These bills are put together by people who don't know or understand the small farm or home gardening.

I would ask that, as the person we have trusted to speak on our behalf, you would take a close look at the language of both the NAIS and HB 875, and consider voting a resounding "NO" on both of them.

HR45 which will be voted on September 8th is about as American as Borsht! I encourage Senator Bennett to vote no on this bill. Disarming Americans and banning guns only hurt law abiding citizens. If this bill passes most Americans will have to choose between surrendering their guns or becoming criminals themselves. As for me, if you force me to choose I will become a criminal. I will not give up my 2A rights for anyone. Thomas Jefferson said that the tree of liberty has to be refreshed with the blood of patriots and tyrants from time to time. That time is approaching rather quickly. September 8th to be exact. It's time for Senator Bennett to decide which side he's on.

Cash for Clunkers I was a horrible mistake. Cash for Clunkers II and it's 2 billion dollar price tag will be an even bigger mistake! Congress cannot keep asking the FED to print up more worthless paper money to cover all these giveaways and social programs (ie, government run healthcare) without further eroding the value of the dollar. Congress needs to get back to laissez-faire, and let the market correct itself. Stop devaluing the dollar by printing more money otherwise the dollar I have in my pocket today will only be worth a dime tomorrow.

HR-1207 is to AUDIT THE FEDERAL RESERVE HR 1349 puts the FEDEREAL RESERVE IN CHARGE OF THE AUDIT PROCESS. THIS IS CRIMINAL and eliminates TRANSPARENCY COMPLETELY. IF THE IRS AUDITS ME ARE THEY GOING TO LET ME DO THE AUDIT? Perlmutter sponsored HR 1349 and cosponsored HR 1207.
This is a major conflict of interest. THE PEOPLE need to see you for what you are Mr. Permutter and that is poor representation of the people of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA.

I need your help to END the use of two poisons that seriously threaten people, pets and our wildlife.

In 2006, sodium cyanide and sodium fluoroacetate (commonly called Compound 1080) killed an average of 1.6 animals every hour. These poisons are considered to be some of the deadliest toxins known to humanity. Yet, Wildlife Services, a division of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), uses these two poisons to kill coyotes and other predators.

Will you help me end the use (and misuse) of these two poisons by urging the Environmental Protection Agency to eliminate sodium cyanide and sodium fluoroacetate?

These poisons don't just threaten their intended targets. They often times poison any threatened or endangered species,
people or domestic pets that happen to come into contact with them.

Sodium cyanide is used in M-44s, which kill more than 10,000 animals each year, including domesticated dogs and a whole host of other "non-target" species, such as rare kit foxes, ringtails [http://en.wikipediaorg/wiki/Ring-tailed_Cat], javelinas [http://www.azgfd.gov/w_c/urban_javelina.shtml], and swift foxes.

M-44s have also killed California condors and wolves.

Compound 1080 can be deployed in poison collars placed on sheep and goats. It is highly toxic to birds and mammals and has been used to illegally kill wolves. Carcasses with Compound 1080 must be handled as hazardous waste. If ingested, they can kill wolves and other animals. Compound 1080 is classified as a chemical weapon in several countries.

The continued availability of these poisons, pose a great threat to people, pets and even homeland security.
Government reports have concluded that Wildlife Services has been "unable to account for stockpiles of the toxins", which leaves the hazardous materials vulnerable to undetected theft and certainly unauthorized use.

There are effective alternatives to these poisons, including a wide range of proactive, nonlethal methods such as fencing, guard animals, fladry lines, non-lethal ammunition and improved animal husbandry. For the safety of our people, our pets and our wildlife, will you take a few moments to help end the use of sodium cyanide and Compound 1080?

Thank you for strongly supporting the dignity of human life. I wish to especially thank you for the steps you have taken to protect the unborn, which have included reinstating the Mexico City Policy, vetoing a bill that would have required U.S. taxpayers to fund research that kills human embryos, and supporting pro-life legislation such as the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act. We must continue to have strong leaders that will continue to protect the unborn. I resent any of my hard earned tax money supporting the Planned Parenthood's agenda to kill as many children as possible.

I am especially grateful to you now for sending Congress a letter vowing to veto any legislation that undermines pro-life policies. Your leadership deeply encourages the growing pro-life community.

What has happened to the government that is supposed to be "by the people and for the people?" Why does congress feel they have the right to dictate what business owners must do--like covering health issues of employees that elect to cross dress, or who need therapy because of their extreme sexual lifestyle. Why should we be forced to pay for their choices that many of us do not support? I am so against the government trying to run everything in our lives.

I don't want any of my tax dollars supporting same sex marriages. God will not continue to bless America if we continue down the immoral path that the ACLU, the Planned Parenthood and even the laws that our government are passing.

Please continue to veto anything that is against God's laws.

I resent that our government is making laws that are taking us back to why our forefathers endured hardships to come to America—their governments were passing laws dictating how they were to worship God and when they didn’t go along with the laws they were killed or put into prison. Now that is happening here—the very fact that we can’t display a nativity scene or sing songs mentioning God, or we can’t display crosses, etc. Our forefathers must be turning over in their graves to see where we are heading. If I am a business owner and don’t want to sell “after sex pills”, or I won’t hire a child molester, or I won’t pay medical expenses for immoral sex choices, I should be protected by my government to allow me freedom to believe in what I stand for.
