I understand that this bill includes the FHA Modernization Act. If thats true I'm for it. It's about time something got to the president.

I think the problem is that in the pursuit of perfection (read partisanship)our congress loses sight of the fact that real people are hurting and need action.

You got a response! WOW! I got a boiler plate email telling me how important my email was. One of my Senators is busy running for president and the other is enjoying photo opps in Malta, NY. You shouldn't be able to run for office from office except for reelection. And that should be only on your record. I'l for total recall. One term, your out unless you can prove you actually did something in office.

I'm trying to get a reverse mortgage for my father and I've run into a new wrinkle. My dads house does not meet FHA building standards (most older homes owned by the elderly don't) and the bank underwriters are keying in on every nuance. I'm sure their running scared because of the sub prime mess. We need an exemption that says these homes only have to be in good repair.
