The Electorial College was a gift of wisdom by our forfathers to prevent mob rule and to retain a Republic where even the states with the smallest populations will have a say in electing a President without losing that right to the crowded states.

Telecom should not be held liable for being good corporate citizens and complying with requests by the US Government to track communications with International terrorists. If there is a complaint, the Gov't is not claiming immunity so sue the government agency and let an approriate special court of jurisdiction here the case.
