H.R.256 - David Ray Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009
- b58 : If they want to write a hate crime law then they need to write one for the unborn kids that doctors kills every day in abortion clinics. These little guys has as much right to live as anyone. There must be a hate for them to kill these babies for no reason except to get rid of them. There should be equal laws for the born and unborn. But they are killed every hour and day of the week without a chance of life.
- KathyT : I agree re our so-called "representatives" are simply not listening to the sane voters. The squeeky wheel gets the grease! I guess this means if one makes enough noise. I am in a mood to just re-call them all!!!!!

H.R.17 - Citizens' Self-Defense Act of 2009
- boomer47 : I have problems with this because it seems to narrow our second ammendment RIGHT. WE currently have a second ammendment right to bear arms for any purpose. This seems to remove from the definition the right to protect ourselves from an over zealous government which a reading of Federalist 46 makes abundantly clear we have the right to do. Personally... I don't like it. It seems to me if we allow this to pass we are supporting allowing congress to restrict what is already a RIGHT and thus sliding further into tyranny. We have a RIGHT to bear arms it needs no definition.
- crackpot : I think most of them haven't read any of the Constitution.

H.R.833 - Federal Reserve Board Abolition Act
- Theodrin : I like using metal money - here, we have a little "metal standard", where we use metal money that the value is either very hard to change or impossible. It does of course fluctuate in proportion to the value of the fake green dollar. The Fed is extremely unconstitutional, and this bill should have appeared long ago... Except... How is this going to go through? It was introduced a while ago!
- Abramsgavin : Shoot... when Martial Law comes come find me, give me a Gun and Ammo, and I'll make myself one of those stove Chest protects like Marty McFly did in Back to the Future did. And I'll find lead a Squad of men against the New World Order

H.R.875 - Food Safety Modernization Act of 2009
- PatMeaney : Part of the problem of food production depending so heavily on oil is the growing use of GMO foods many of which are modified seeds that produce much higher yields. They are designed to be resistant to pesticides allowing crops to be sprayed heavily with highly toxic pesticides such as Roundup and Atrazine. Farmers then need three times more water to irrigate GMO crops, resulting in further drainage of the world's fresh water supplies.
To sever the relationship between oil and food will require a major paradigm shift in how we produce food. In the words of Richard Hienberg (2005): "Given the fact that fossil fuels are limited in quantity and we are already in view of the global oil production peak, the debate over the potential productivity chemical-gene engineered agriculture and agroecological farming may be relatively pointless. We must turn to a food system that is less fuel reliant, even if it does prove to be less productive."
**All of this is from the above link**
- PatMeaney : In contrast to the paradigm shift in Cuba, the U.S. government is continuing to provide generous subsidies to agribusiness, thus postponing the day when a transformation in farming methods can be set in motion. For example, there were three types of agricultural subsidies and in 2008: the government paid our $12.2 billion in direct subsidies with 62% going to commercial farms; $5.2 billion in commodity payments with 76% going to commercial farms; $2.7 billion in conservation payments with 33% going to commercial farms.

H.R.1207 - Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009
- PGJK : 2 things, imnavarro4, First of all inflation hasn't been fully accounted in your calculation. 60-70 years ago you could have seen a full day of movies (4-6 hours entertainment) including condiments (ie; popcorn, candy & soda) for about 25 cents, with a companion it was maybe another 5-10 cents more. Present day's cost is approx. $40 for just 2 hours of movie time (ie; entertainment + food). So its fairly safe to say you probably got more bang outta your buck back in 1913 than you get 2010.
Secondly, Federal Reserve can create money not value therefore they create inflation ...(USD: $90 now its low has been $70) or they can decrease the money supply and create deflation (lowering prices for oil and increasing the dollar’s purchasing power)..
...Thats never gonna happen this isn't Walmart where they can just rollback prices. those powers that be " Big Oil" aren't about to rollback anytime soon. When was the last time you conceded to or volunteered for a pay cut and were happy about it?

S.773 - Cybersecurity Act of 2009
- cyberbillwatcher : ROCKEFELLER and his uncle David Rockefeller are the top illuminati in the U.S. and the internet is ruining their plans of the GLOBAL NWO takeover, and enslavement of people. They are DIRECTLY responsible for all these wars and the bankster thefts from Treasury to Wall Street. The Rockefeller Foundation financially backs 95% depopulation via toxic vaccines and chemtrails. He will CONTINUE to propose bills of this type unless he leaves congress. Vote fraud will keep him in. I'm OUTRAGED by his even proposing this bill. The U.S. is NOT secure BECAUSE OF congress' open border policies. The internet has nothing to do with it, except to awaken people to his family's EVIL. Rockefeller should turn his FULL ATTENTION to the ILLEGALS CROSSING THE BORDERS with no hindrance from Homeland INSecurity. THINK ABOUT IT: Has Senator Rockefeller EVER proposed anything GOOD for the American people?
- jxfaughn : On another note regarding the IT admin and security, it is common knowledge that the government "hires" hackers commonly to assist in its security.

S.787 - Clean Water Restoration Act
- Mcbee : Define "poison"?
Under the current CWA, "pollutants" include sand, dirt and rocks. However, the CWA does not include E-coli, bacteria, oil from storm drains or raw sewerage from "recreational watercraft" (these are exempt).
There are no "limits" (parts per million) similar to the Clean Air Act; therefore any amount of zinc, copper, or even round-up is illegal to use in or near drainage ditches. Oddly, municipalities are exempt from poisoning streams with pharmaceuticals discharged from sewerage plants.
A new energy technology growing E-coli in holding ponds, is exempt from the CWA. This while any property owner grading his land or altering a drainage ditch could be criminally charged under this ridiculous expansion of the Clean Water Act.
Our waters should be clean, but this alteration of the CWA is nothing more than a property grab for federal agencies and the special interests that control them.
- Mcbee : The bill does not just protect water quality, if it did I would be arguing for the bill.
The bill seeks to claim lands and waters that are currently private property. The bill could be fixed to NOT GRAB property...but then it would be a pointless bill.

H.R.1866 - Industrial Hemp Farming Act of 2009
- FreeRoamer : We really need this bill to pass, people. Industrial hemp could help our economy in so many ways. Hemp cannot be used to get high so there's absolutely no reason you should oppose this bill.
- dewby13 : Yes, it's true that hemp is a very Top $$$ cash crop. For that reason, it should only be reserved for farmers that also grow food crop to help feed us millions of Americans. Every year, more and more farmers are going bankrupt. It's time we allow our American Farmers to cash in and make some money.
It'll help out our economy as well. We can then make all the products of hemp and start competing in the International Market. Write Your Congressmen!!!
