I am writing as your constituent in the 7th Congressional district of Washington. I support S.1428 - Stop Outsourcing Security Act, and am tracking it using OpenCongress.org, the free public resource website for government transparency and accountability.

I believe that using Military Contractors have cost our government Billions of dollars. While I was in the Navy, I spent time in the food service and facilities maintenance. It was time well spent in support of our mission and my shipmates. It build a sense of ownership over the equipment and the facilities that we used.

Over the last 10 years, I have read many stories about shoddy work by contractors and construction companies that have taken the place, at additional expense, of the internal operations support personnel that used to be fellow members of the Armed Forces. I think it's wrong, and I wish it would stop.

Please co-sponsor S.1428 in the Senate, and let's fix this problem.

Sincerely,
Chad Lupkes </content>

If 2,000 pages is too complicated, is Grayson's 3.5 page bill better?
