Sen Fienstien needs to RESIGN over conflicts of interest. How in the hell can her husbands firm recieve money on any federal contracts. That is the definition of conflict of interest.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Sen. Dianne Feinstein offered to help secure federal funds for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. just days before the agency awarded a contract to her husband’s company in the housing foreclosure crisis.

On Oct. 30, Feinstein expressed backing for FDIC Chairwoman Sheila Bair’s proposal to stem home foreclosures through the use of federal bailout funds for the agency.

Days later, the career staff at the FDIC awarded an unrelated, competitively bid, contract to CB Richard Ellis Group, a commercial real estate services company where Feinstein’s husband, Richard Blum, is board chairman.

Blum’s firm is selling foreclosed properties that are held by the FDIC.

She votes the Democratic Party Line 95% of the time! How can you think she is “pretending to be a Democrat”? She is certainly not a Republican!

But I agree, “We need to find a better person for this important job”.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), a member of the Trilateral Commission and a leading gun control advocate in Congress, criticized the ruling regarding lifting the gun ban in DC. “I believe the people of this great country will be less safe because of it,” she said.

Get off the backside of your butt and do SOMETHING for this country. Rip the environmentalists a new body cavity and get our own oil in our system so we can save the 6.1 TRILLION dollars the arabs are going to reap from this latest increase in a barrel of oil. What must we do to heat our homes? Paying more than 3 bucks a gallon for heating oil is ludicrous because our government can’t stand up for us. Give more money to the world, The cost of making ethanol is costing more than it’s worth in burning in a car. All that’s accomplishing is to drive up the cost of food. Nice going, a real snooker job on congress for this fiasco. Go environmentalists and Al Gore, wreck this country as fast as you can.

I have always found that the ones who scream “I worked hard!” know that they could have done a better job. I left California 9 years ago for just this reason. Water shortages, rolling blackouts, brown-outs, too high property taxes, run-away prices on water and electricity, ect. ect. I made 50% more salary in California and my cost of living was 200% more than here. You have bled the stone dry my friends and the paradise that once was California will soon be economically indistinguishable from Tijuana. You have proved your actions comparable to WMDs and I am glad I had the foresight back then to escape with my life. Put that on your resume’ ma’am.
BTW, the General was addressing you exactly as he was trained to do and he surely has worked >100 times harder to get to were he is than you could ever dream to do in your pathetic Democratic role. Maybe if you acted as a ‘public servant’ instead of the ‘deserving few’, you would get a clue to why you hold the office.

You and the rest of the Republicans are so transparent! President Obama, as well as us Americans, know what you are doing. Stalling and not voting on what the people want and need in this country. Do the job you were elected to do, and start voting! Your tactics in stalling is only going to back fire on you all. Show our President some respect. How you treat him, is a reflection on how you treat us Americans. We may have been fooled in the past, but not anymore! We The People have spoken by electing President Obama into office. We need change and we need it now! And quit blaming President Obama for the disaster in the Gulf. Enough is enough!

Your comment on tax breaks for businesses was right on! Unfornately, the idiots making the decisions will once again forgo the urgency to help American businesses in a time when oversea’s competition is kicking our A—. It’s a sad day in America that people have forgotten what made America strong. I hope in the coming days more people see things the way you do, but from past experience I’m afraid there will be no lessons learned. I’m sure we’ll throw billions away for a short term answer. America is in such trouble!!!
