do these people really think about what this bill will do. I work with these criminals every day they will keep getting there guns no matter what stipulations the government puts on the rest of us. We will all have to get our guns off the l=black market at this rate to protect ourselves from the government

I want to voice my opposition to H.R.45 Blair Holt’s Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009. When one amendment of the Constitution can be legislated away, then all of them are subject to the same treatment. I see this bill as an underhanded attack on my rights guaranteed by the constitution. All this bill will do is empower criminals while it limits the ability of honest citizens to protect themselves and enjoy hunting and target shooting. The end result will be a whole new class of criminals, who the day before were law abiding citizens. The criminals themselves won’t be deterred in the least.

Now they are telling us that they cannot pass a bill so we can feed and house our families. What is more important the “Oil Spill” or the unemployed and their children. I don’t agree with this stimulus package at all. It is just another way of selling this country down the drain. I have lost almost all of my savings because of the greed and mismanagement of many companies. I don’t see anyone wonting to pay me back. This country is in big trouble and you can’t fix it by spending more money, especially money we don’t have. Until you bring back industry and manufactoring to this country…things will not change.

This extention on unemployment has to be passed. I’am an American and have been unemployed since dec 2009.I look for work almost everyday with no luck at all!This is the first time in my 42 yrs of life that I havent had a job.An American born and raised in here, who needs your help! Terrible, rude, unresponsive man. I went to two of his town hall meetings (which he only agreed to attend because they were sponsored by the SEIU and UNC Young Democrats, respectively) and not only did he know absolutely nothing about the health care plan they’re trying to speed through congress, but he was openly hostile and dismissive of his constituents who dared voice an opposition to the bill. I’ve never been so disappointed in one of my political representatives, and you can bet that I will be actively participating in Frank Roche’s campaign for Price’s seat next year.
