We need to be taking ground, not giving ground on this issue. This feels like the kiss on the cheek you get after being anal raped in prison. In the grand sceme of things possibly unimportant, but let this be the straw that breaks our back. I for one am ready to get back the civil liberties that were taken from us and to give any more ground at all is ludicrous. It's local police, port patrol, air port security and similar groups that gaurd americans. NOT salivating voyeurs.

The importance of this bill is that we are seeing the first "real" legislation on an internet issue. We should not destroy the only forum left that allows truly free speech. Last time I checked musicians are still rich. R Kelly's 100,000 dollar suit might need to be traded for a 80,000 dollar suit, but I'm willing to make that sacrifice in order to keep the government from legislating the internet.

Our house will always be in disrepair. I just wish we could decide what America's economic policy should be and stick with it. Are we Capitalist, Communist, Facists, or the rich uncle who gives out free cars. This indecisiveness over where our money should go is strangling middle america. We cannot be all of the above.

It's time we took our freedoms back and it appears that this bill is the perfect soapbox for Democrats to stand on and call out those who have taken them from us. Who will stand?

Mixed feelings. I feel like this is a ploy to increase popularity with the current administration before it leaves. However it at least gives Americans hope for the future of our economy. All our economy needs to correct itself is the confidence of the American people; so that they feel comfortable enough to invest rather than preserve.
