H.R.1593

It is such a relief to know that there are people experiancing the same sort of obstacles as I. I am a criminal justice major and recently my husband was arrested by the feds on a he said she said suspiscion that involved a crime that happend over 5 years ago. I wanted plainly to give up on my degree because to me our justice system is not fair and I didn't want any part of it. Through turbulations and support from family and friends, I maintained getting my degree because I believe that it takes voices to be heard, even if it has to be my voice alone, it will get heard. The dollar signs cross through these so-called government officials and they don't care the pain they inflict on anyone else as long as they get a promotion or a bonus. I am well aware that there are human beings out there who do deserve to to be in prison, but there is also a well amount of people who don't. America, yeah the land of the free, has been reported as the number 1 country in the entire world for people who are incarcerated. That means 1 out of every 98.2 people is in jail or in prison. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. I agree with every comment that is posted on this page. I agree with Jerry Robinson, all of us have to stand together and keep our voices heard! It will take all of us, because you konw it takes all of them who work together to put the loved ones behind bars. THUMBS UP to pass this bill!!!!!!!!
