- Anonymous : I too am a victim of Homecoming Financial. I am new to researching all of this, but I have just recieved notice that I will be losing my job at the end of January. I called Homecoming to see if I could get my interest rate lowered. I got a straight up NO! I am paying a ridiculous 10.33%. Everything I have looked into so far for Modifying my loan will cost me $1,000 or up. Does anyone have any updated suggestions for me concerning this bill.

Myabe picking a doctor would be speculation in your eyes too? Maybe then if a doctor leaves a sponge in your chest cavity then you wouldn't be a victim? By your logic, we were speculating on our health, right?
Get off your right-wing white-collar butt and work three jobs trying to support someone other than yourself of your waistline.
These people were burned - and theycertainly are victims. Try being one, and you'll maybe begin to understand.

They were well intentioned and worked out over this past decade to have been mistakes. Lets remedy this now.
On a side note, encryption should be like a fence around a property that is a reminder to people that the artist chooses to reserve their rights, and when people violate the copyright for commercial gain, the encryption can be used as proof that the alleged infringer was aware that the work was protected by copyright law.
A right that requires one to break the law to take advantage of is no right at all. Protect the right of creators and consumers together, and support this bill!

Does anyone know the status of this important legislation for seniors? Times are really tough for those of us on fixed incomes and we need those limits raised in order to obtain as much as possible from a reverse mortgage.
Help! ANY info most welcome.
