I read an article on the jobs bill today and emailed the Congressional Reporter Corey Boles and told him I did not see anything in the current bill about the long termed unemployed and he said Reids staff said it will be on a seperate bill after this jobs bill is passed. So keep the faith..

I just read on unemployed friends that Sander Levin from Michigan and DcDermott are working on extending the dates. Go there and read or google Sander Levin of Michigan

pbhames 11/09/2009 9:37am

Michigan said they would mail out letters. They could save postage money that the State does not have if they would just let us continue to claim online and either accept and pay or not pay.

pbhames 11/05/2009 5:47am

So how many votes do we need?

pbhames 11/04/2009 10:20am

Yes he did I agree Double woooooooooooooooo hoooooooooooooooooooo!!

pbhames 11/04/2009 6:33am

I would feel like an ass and hide if I was DeMint. He should feel like an asshole.

pbhames 11/03/2009 1:18pm

So the vote at 12:15 tomorrow is not the final vote?

pbhames 11/03/2009 11:12am

Oh my God Franken wants to speak on Health Care for 45 minutes….I object….

pbhames 11/03/2009 11:02am

To the person who bad mouths my Michigan Senators Stabenow and Levin….I am a Michigan resident and they are wonderful for our state. What State are you from and what are you wonderful Senators. I agree Sanders is so far the most realistict person who has spoken. He gives the true numbers.

pbhames 11/03/2009 10:50am

Go Sanders Go…give them hell.

pbhames 11/03/2009 10:32am

Not one mention of the delay and time even if the bill passes today that will be for the States to get the money out to people.

pbhames 11/02/2009 11:25am

so if they get the majority vote over 60 it still has to be voted on again after 30 hours then go to the House or can they count this as the vote?

pbhames 10/30/2009 4:19am

From what I have read the Senate is not in session next Wed, Thurs, or Friday so they would not vote until the following week…am I right?

pbhames 10/29/2009 2:48pm

They are right now on c-span2 about the unemployment

pbhames 10/27/2009 12:28pm

The repubs don’t have the balls to talk about the subject. To me it is treason on the American Citizens. They are refusing to do their jobs..

pbhames 10/27/2009 12:13pm

Go Reid Go so now stick to the subject and kick ass

pbhames 10/27/2009 11:53am

Kyl is such an ass he can’t even adress the unemployment. I hope you people in Arizona get him on the street with your views. If we the unemployed could afford it we would all go to his office and tell him what a wimp he is and get him fired.

pbhames 10/22/2009 1:50pm

My connection is so slow I can not watch the Senate live so can someone tell me have they left for the day?

I thought the House was on recess all of next week……So they would not vote until the next week. Am I right?

pbhames 10/10/2009 2:33pm

Has everyone forgotten the House is not in session next week so if it has to go back to the House it will be the following week??? Kyl knew exactly what he was doing. Jerk.

pbhames 09/29/2009 6:55am

On c-span2 the banner on the bottom said they may talk about unemployment extension today

pbhames 07/13/2009 1:35pm

Obama will be in Michigan on Tuesday the 14th and another auto supplier announced closeing today in Battle Creek. I hope someone there will ask him if he will extend unemployment due to our State being over 14% unemployed. If any one is in Warren and can attend we need you to help us.

pbhames 04/02/2009 11:49am

Michigan here——-looks like the extra 7 weeks passed the House and Senate here in Michigan now the Governor has to sign it. That should give us 20 weeks here in Michigan Senate Bill 0399
