I am writing as your constituent in the 29th Congressional district of New York. I oppose S.787 - Clean Water Restoration Act, and am tracking it using OpenCongress.org, the free public resource website for government transparency and accountability.

My reason for my opposition is that this is little more than an unconstitutional and therefore unlawful power grab by the federal government and primarily the executive branch via the EPA, an agency that itself has no foundation in the Constitution of the United States. It is clearly time that our nation and our republican form of government was restored to the limits set forth by the Constitution you as an elected representative swore an oath to uphold and protect. </content>
