H.R.1529 - Second Chance for Ex-Offenders Act of 2009
- p_davsi : I really think that this bill would help people and others that are trying to get there lives on the wright path. I was 18 When I got my charge even with it expunge It still can be seen on the background check. This isn't FAIR If I go to school what good will it do. I REALLY want to be a RN Registered Nurse.
So YES I I agree as well the law needs to be passed. The unemployment rates would shurly Decrease rapidly if people where giving seconds chances. This is my summary of the whole IDEA. So I hope this happens. May god be with us on this.
- NovusLivy : I really have doubts about the validity of this bill. It seems to be an attempt by a group of convicted felons to hide their past from those who have a legitimate interest in knowing, such as potential employers. I fail to see how that can be good for the society as a whole.
