Iraq War
Napolitano voted against the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002 that started the Iraq War.[1]

Biography
Napolitano was born December 4, 1936 in Brownsville, Texas. She was educated at Texas Southmost College and was a member of the Norwalk, California City Council and a member of the California Assembly before entering the House.
2006 elections
In 2006, the Republicans nominated Sidney W. Street to face Napolitano in her November 2006 bid for reelection. (See U.S. congressional elections in 2006) [1] Napolitano retained her seat.
