Crowley voted for the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002 that started the Iraq War.[1]

Bio
Crowley was born March 16, 1962 in New York, New York. He graduated from Queens College in 1985. In 1986, he was elected to the New York General Assembly and served until he was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1998.[[1]]
Congressional career
According to his House biography, "Crowley is using his seat at the leadership table to promote sound policies to improve public education, make healthcare more affordable and protect Social Security for working families in the Bronx and Queens. Congressman Crowley has and will continue to work his colleagues in the Democratic Caucus to promote the Democratic agenda and win back a Democratic House of Representatives in 2006."[2]
2006 elections
In 2006, the Republicans nominated Kevin Brawley to face Crowley in his November 2006 bid for reelection. (See U.S. congressional elections in 2006) [3] Crowley retained his seat.
