The RaceTracker project on the OpenCongress wiki tracks the status of candidates running for every seat in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives and every state governorship. It is coordinated by the SwingStateProject.
The power of this fully sourced and operational wiki is the citizens across the country researching, writing and fact-checking the information here. It is transparent, free, open-source and non-partisan; any political motivation for participation is irrelevant in the face of our common interest in knowing everyone running to represent us in our government.
Find out how to participate or contact us at the RaceTracker community portal.
Discover other community projects (or how to start your own!) at the main OpenCongress wiki community portal.

About/contact
The RaceTracker wiki is coordinated primarily by the team at the SwingStateProject, with assistance from the OpenCongress team. The coordinators encourage you to make any additions or corrections via the "Edit with form" tab at the top of every race page (you'll need to log-in to edit; see the "Join OpenCongress" link in the top right), but you can also leave a message on JamesL's user talk page.
For questions more generally about the RaceTracker wiki or about starting your own project on OpenCongress, please contact the OpenCongress team at writeus@OpenCongress.org.
More background and individual contact information can be found on the RaceTracker community portal.
