Support for gun control

Miller cosponsored H.R. 1022 (Assault Weapons Ban Reauthorization Act of 2007) on March 9, 2007.[1]

Bio

Miller was born May 19, 1953 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He received a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1975, a M.S. from the London School of Economics in 1978, and a J.D. from Columbia University in 1979. He was a member of the North Carolina General Assembly from 1992 until 1994 and a member of the North Carolina state senate, 1996-2002.

Congressional career

He is an endorser of the Genocide Intervention Network.[1]

2006 elections

In 2006, the Republicans nominated Vernon Robinson to face Miller in his November 2006 bid for reelection. (See U.S. congressional elections in 2006) [2] Miller retained his seat.
