Hello, I'm the senior editor here at the OpenCongress wiki. I work for the Sunlight Foundation in Washington, DC.

Previously, I was the managing editor of the Congresspedia project on SourceWatch and worked with the folks at the Center for Media and Democracy. I also used to work for Congress Watch division of Public Citizen, a national, non-profit public-interest organization. At Congress Watch I spent several years researching and reporting on influence and corruption in the federal government. I studied political economy at Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA and Deep Springs College in California. I received my Master of Public Affairs degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. I live in Austin, TX.

If you'd like to leave me a message, leave it on my talk page or send me an email.

"I dearly love the state of Texas, but I consider that a harmless perversion on my part, and discuss it only with consenting adults." -Molly Ivins
