During the campaign, Titus took the following issue positions:
Education
Titus said she would work to improve education by making early childhood education available to more people, fully fund No Child Left Behind, and make college less expensive by pushing for expanded student aid through direct lending rather than through banks.[1]
Veterans
Titus said she supported fully funding the Veterans Administration so that it can provide quality resources and support to veterans. [1]
Economy
Titus said she supports increasing the use of renewable energies as a method of stimulating the economy and creating jobs. She proposed focusing the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on developing new electric transmission corridors dedicated to renewable power, expanding grant opportunities for existing and new research and technology programs, and extending the solar investment tax credit and the production tax credit for wind power for 10 years to increase investment in renewable energy plants.[1]
