Arkansas began processing claims and  paying out for Extended Unemployment  Benefits on Thursday July 29 with funds starting to be deposited into individual accounts on  Friday July 30, 2010...DWS will evaluate all weekly claims and payout daily until individuals are caught up for all the retroactive weeks due...for instance, I have six weeks of retroactive benefits due to me and I received payout for the 1st week Friday July 30th...I will received payout for the second week Monday August 2nd, and so on until the six weeks of retroactive payments are completed...seems cumbersome but apparently this is how their system is best able to process the claims for extended benefits...bwcox@August 1, 2010.
