Brad Zaun is the Republican nominee in the 2010 congressional elections for the 3rd Congressional District (map) of Iowa. He won the 2010 Republican primary held on Tuesday 8th June 2010 with 42%.[1] He will face incumbent Rep. Leonard Boswell (D-Iowa.) in the 2010 congressional elections.

Brad Zaun is the State Senator for the 32nd District. a veteran of the U.S. Army, is the executive director of the state association for children’s homes and shelters. He is the former director of the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals, and served as the chief of staff for former Congressman Greg Ganske. [2]

Brad Zaun sponsored the Iowa Senate Bill SF233 stating that life begins at conception and that an unborn child (defined from the moment of coneption to birth) should have “all the rights, privileges, and immunities available to other persons, citizens, and residents of Iowa.”
