Byron Lee was a Democratic candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 2nd Congressional District (map) of Louisiana. He was seeking the Democratic nomination to challenge Rep. William Jefferson (R-La.), but did not garner enough votes to proceed past Louisiana's October 5, 2008 primary election.[1]
