Cheryl Ede was a Democratic candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 50th Congressional District (map) of California. She was seeking the Democratic nomination to challenge incumbent Rep. Brian Bilbray (R-Calif.), but lost a primary election to Nick Leibhan on June 3, 2008.[1]
