Founded in 1997, the Congressional Missing and Exploited Children's Caucus focuses its efforts on building awareness around the issue of missing and exploited children, helping find children who are currently missing, and working to prevent future abductions. [1]

  • In September of 2006, Co-Chair Mark Foley (R-Fla.) resigned after it became known that he had exchanged sexually explicit e-mails and instant messages with former House pages.
