David Crowley was a Republican candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 33rd Congressional District (map) of California. He won the Republican nomination in the June 2008 primaries, but lost a challenge to incumbent Rep. Diane Watson (D-Calif.) in the November 2008 U.S. congressional elections.[1]
