Diane Lenning was the Republican nominee for the 39th Congressional District (map) of California. She ran unopposed in primary elections which took place on June 3, 2008. Lenning was the Republican nominee seeking to replace incumbent Rep. Linda Sanchez (D), but lost to Sanchez in the November general election.[1]
