E.J. Pipkin was a Republican candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 1st Congressional District (map) of Maryland. He lost the Republican nomination to Andy Harris, who defeated incumbent Rep. Wayne Gilchrest (R-Md.)in the Republican primary held February 12, 2008.[1]
